how hard it is to understand?

fans would be happy, owners would be happy..

where is the money, there must be some, there must be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(this should have been put into drunk thread)

Sunderland just bought Ji Dong Won for a measly 800,000 quid from Chunnam Dragons. He is already leading the line for the South Korean national team even though he is only 21. They got him that cheap as he had a loophole in his contract. That was exactly the sort of signing we should have gone for, but what is it with Moyes only liking English speaking players?

It is a bit ****.

It Would be lovely if they surprised us by scouting another up and coming star. I don't want Everton to throw stupid money around but there are some cracking players out there just itching to play in the prem. We make players good, and good players better.

I believe ...we're in for some Korean lad at the moment. So i read.

Thanks to Waynes World for the following. 'Cream of sum yun guy' Anyway, a striker, why do the strikers we have struggle? could the problem be the service? popular opinion states the majority of our forward creativity currently comes from Baines left foot, if that is the case we could do with a mammoth forward that is exceptional in the air. Ferguson 15 years ago would be nice. Einstein saw to it that can't happen. So, should we be looking for another facet in our build up play to allow what we have to capitalise? Or just scream and shout and soil our bills because we demand a Dzeko type signing?

you make out they are like Brazil these Koreans, the answer to all our problems in every position. They got him on the cheap cos he's from some 2 bit team in a 10 bob league, with pedigree canine broth for the corporates.

Lee Chung young at Bolton and ki Sung yeung at Celtic were both bought for under 2 million and both, especially Lee, are key players in their teams. These were the last two Korean players to come over to europe and were previously playing for fc Seoul in the '2bob league' as you put it. Ji dong won is already a full international at 20 and lead the line for Korea in the Asian cup just gone. They were knocked out on penalties by Japan in the semis, but could have easily won the tournament instead of the Japanese.

I'm not saying these players are Brazilian first team international class, but they are good players who are very cheap in comparison to European prices.

Apologies if my geographical location is not to your liking but I'm just adding a more global slant on the players we could be bidding for. You seem to be the only person on this forum who constantly picks up on the fact that I live in Korea and whenever I
mention Korean players. I'm finding it tiring. As this thread is posted in world football I'm well within my rights to mention sunderland's latest cheap international striker signing.

You asking for puns? And I thought 'pedigree canine broth' was a touch crass, loved Li Tie I did.

Park Chu-Young at Monaco...apparently. If he costs money it isn't happening - English, Korean or Native American....

I remember either being linked to him before, or someone on here just starting a thread about him.

He's like Korea's star player, so I doubt we can afford him.
