Why not put this to the test, create a thread on its own (not in the transfers thread obviously) pretending to be an ITK giving details of an imminent signing (somebody a bit obscure not one of the usual suspects) and see does it actually make the rags...............probably a good idea if one of the more regular users on here creates the thread as it will get more attention/posts that way, anyone fancy it/??

oh and if someone decides to run with it then it might be an idea to delete this post in case any sneaky journo is monitoring the site more than we think

I was thinking of doing it myself but i werent sure if anyone would run with it or if they thought i was just being paranoid we are being stalked by a journalist....... I would run with it if someone sets it up.
 
There was a fella who posted on here until fairly recently who makes his living selling stories to the press. Never hid the fact if approached about it. Never advertised it either like...

What position does Whiskers play?
 
I think it's just obvious for Journalists, as it is with us. They use the same thought process we do, which is funny considering we are mere fans and they write the news. So for example, it's obvious to journo's that we need a new keeper, so they link us with the same names we post on the forums because they are the obvious examples, namely anyone who is good and at a 'lesser' club than us or someone who's contract us expiring.
