"We are in a poor, poor situation"

Are you [Poor language removed] daft, the man clearly stated that the lack of numbers is a huge concern and then went on to qualify that by stating we are in a "poor, poor situation with regards to moving forward", not "we've got no options up front". The whole interview was basically centred around only being able to field 4 substitutes.

You've got to be on a wind-up you.

I take it you didn't bother to see the ACTUAL interview, rather than read about it where it is hacked up and mis-quoted.

Good job.

Yes, I've seen the actual interview.

What's your point?

Moyes is made up with the present situation?

He thinks it's great that he's having to play kids and has to put our Mascot on the bench? He's so thrilled and convinced of the Club's ability to progress that he can't wait to put pen-to-paper on his new contract?

Yes, you're quite right, it's me who has misinterpreted everything. :)

Ross has just emailed me back.

Not impressed that I called him a liar, basically it's up to him to prove me wrong.

He has told me to not read into rumours, and to basically keep stock in the fact that Moyes said yesterday that he has millions to spend.

Make of that what you will.

I hope so Ghost. We need an infux of player now if not for the team then for the fans who are starting to get angry :@

i hope things are not as bad as they seem.

Watch the Evertontv interview, then come back to me.

the quote in question about "We are in a poor, poor situation going forward" was based on attacking players.

Its been took out of that interview, mixed about and shoved into something about moutinho and money, it has no relevance.

Sound mate (y)

Moyesy's made up, the fanbase isn't split, we're all thrilled, in fact we're such a well-oiled tight ship they're renaming us Everton United next season

Is that what it's like in your little bubble Bainsey ?

You called me [Poor language removed] daft for reading Moyes's quote correctly, Im sorry if the echo shafted you into believing that tripe.

Your answer is to bring things into it that were NEVER in the equation in the first place, if you'd like to pot them all out from that interview on evertontv where Moyes mentioned all of the above, feel free to do so.

Now trot along.

it's so sad seeing you getting so wound up by the echo and believing their bullshit lol. I'll bump this thread on January 1st and you'll feel stupid.

Its a joke IMO.

A quote taken out of context by the Echo from Everton TV ends up on the Guardian website. And THEN the actual Tofeeweb site starts to put articles about Philip Green not giving us money "reinforcing" what Moyes was mis-quoted as saying leaving us with no money.

Fook me, talk about a snowball effect of bollocks. I thought Toffeeweb refrained from putting up articles or rumours with no shred of evidence to prove any percentage of truth like a link or quote?

Its ridiculous.

It's kinda sad to be honest.
