I wouldn’t want him. I would have him instead of Martinez tho. He is less experienced but we know what Martinez brings. Rooney could be really good for all we know but it’s a massive gamble.

Yeah similar to my thoughts , I’m surprised by the fact that I’ve responded in a semi-positive manner as it feels like something I shouldn’t like . I’d certainly prefer it to be an interim appointment until we see what’s what but he’s done a pretty impressive job in hugely difficult circumstances at derby .
