I left the bar (in Ohio around 12:30pm) 5 minutes before the game came on. Got home and watched the Bremen v Hamburg game. Hugely entertaining. It appears that I am now avoiding the team I have loved for 50 years so I can watch a bunch of Germans. Nothing against our German brothers of course.

It was a false line up - made it look like we weren't playing 2 DMs by not having Gana & Schneiderlin whereas he had Rooney & Davies under orders sitting so deep it was actually 3.

Its was awful for 80mins.

They had little end product but at least they looked to play football.

We just had nothing. Nothing at all.

Even Walcott looks to have fitted in nicely now the confidence/coaching from playing for Arsenal has worn off.
