Player Valuation: Pssssht
I have to admit, earlier this season, I watched our matches with the "oh god, when are we going to concede a goal" mindset. And when we did score, it seemed like I had that feeling of "here's comes the other team's reply."
But lately with our newfound form, I'm watching matches -- like yesterday's at Wigan -- with a "we're going to get one any minute now" mindset. Even when the match was 0-0 after 80 minutes, I just knew we were going to nick a late winner.
Part of it is the return of injured players, part is the new additions, but mostly it's that we've finally hit our stride. It's such a great feeling to be able to watch matches with that "we can take over the world" mentality again -- like in last year's FA Cup run.
Anyway ... just wanted to share.
