Here's one for the stats geeks. Lukaku overtook Jelavic in minutes played for Everton during the last game. The numbers are in.

Lukaku: 4573 minutes, 23 goals
Jelavic: 4569 minutes, 21 goals

Some boss finishing and dire holdup play in there.

Love little stats like that.

Both made me love them and then broke my heart.

I've seen enough of Lukaku to still think he'll turn out better than Jela, though. I think in five years time, we'll think it was a good deal.

This is why is a misteke , when u try to play passing game u buy fast and technical striker who can play and drop in holes , FFS Lukaku have [Poor language removed] touch and no driblling at all . He need delivery from wingers the most or some Silva , Totti , Farbregas ,player behaind him and much better quality players all over the pitch. How can bloody Eto pass usable ball in space when he did not do that for a living. Base on playersd we had it was wrong tzo pay this big amount of money on this kind of striker . Lukaku will always score goals there is no question , but not player who can make something on hes own and that kind striker we should buy for this money .
