Well my reasoning was that Neville was providing nothing to the attack and since I rate Hibbert as a better defensive player, I wanted to see Hibbert get a run since it couldn't get any worse from an offensive standpoint.

It is an obvious and consructive criticism of below par performances. Yes we won. Maybe we the better side in patches. You have to agree there was room for improvement with the players mentioned?

Theres always room for improvment....some people are never happy.

We did ok in our build up play but the final ball wasn't good. This was usually in fairness due to it being delivered by Neville

I thought we played decent, Everyone played well in the second half...I could've shot Carlsey though when he spent a decade trying to clear the ball with a red shirt all of 2 yards away from him...they nearly scored by that.

I think that we tried to play it on the floor. For much of the match it didn't happen for us. Even if we struggle, I would like to think that we will always try and keep it on the floor. Manny's second half improvement was great, and Jags, really don't know who's gonna move him from his place in the team.

I think we did really well. I think the main attritube we showed last night was patience. We let them have their two banks of four, and spent a lot of time trying to unpick them, but I didn't see us get flustered except for a 10 minute spell when they could have nicked a goal.

There were no stand out performances for me, just a solid team who made sure of the win.

Negatives were the poor final balls into the box and the fact that Cahill was mostly anonymous,

I agree with Cal. I thought we played pretty decent and I really enjoyed the win

Sure it wasn't perfect, but we were playing a good side away from home in Europe, and we won! Happy days

Fukk the performance were nearly through to the QF of a european cup compatition.

It was'nt even that bad. we were the best team by far.

Given they are in the CL next season and we were without our two best midfielders I would have settled for that result pre kick off.It's good we are getting greedy,just shows how far we have come in the last year.

I also though we played well. We were controlling the game for most of the time- playing at our speed and passing the ball around. It did get a little frustrating that the ball into the box was poor but that improved in the second half.
