Sorry guys, I can't post the link coz I'm not up to 10 posts yet, but it's on the echo website that Warren Bradley has found a mate at the council who he is joining forces with to scupper the Kirkby move.

He is really beginning to do my head in. OK, I understand that fans are split over the move to Kirkby, but we had a vote and decided to go.

This guy is just being a pillock now.:@ If he was so interested in the fortunes of the mighty blues, then where were his campaigns when our planning permission on Stanley Park got refused (A couple of years before the RS had theirs approved). The city council stinks of favouritism to the reds.

Where was he when we were looking for a site in the city? This guy isn't a blue. If he was, he'd know what the best interests of the club were and surely it isn't blocking the Kirkby move. He's a typical politician, full of hot air. At least he'll be able to claim back the extra travel expenses he incurs as our countrys politicians continue to rob us blind.

If there's another option then we should have a look at it. Everything should be looked over so we can find the best place for Everton.

did we have any stanleypark plans refused ?

it was my impression that we were told a long time ago - when there was the very 1st talk of a new stadium, not to waste any time, effort and money on s.p. as it was not available for use.

It's not Warren Bradley and a mate. It's all four major political parties in Liverpool combining to kick Kirkby into touch.

nope, you're right, we never tried to submit any plans for SP, not even for the little plot opposite the not very Mega Store back when GFE was in full flow.

Alledgedly, SP was granted for the RS as a sop after the council bent over backwards to help us fund King's Dock. Let's hope the [Poor language removed] do as good a job on that as we did on King's Dock.

To be fair, the whole covenant issue has become very murky, there all kinds of weasel words you can put in a planning submission to 'satisfy the intent' of a covenant. I'm guessing (and only guessing) that's what the RS have done, and what we could have done, had the will been there, but, at the time, the KD deal looked too good to pass over.

As already stated he couldnt if we never applied and as much as I doubt his intentions I also think to say Kirkby is for the best is utter rubbish not because of location but because of the deal its self, butevery one has their own opinion.

WE DON'T WANT A GROUND SHARE.

WE DON'T GIVE A [Poor language removed] IF WE GET THE WORLD CUP.

WE DON'T WANT KIRKBY.

JUST GIVE US THE ******* ALBERT DOCK YOU TIT!!!!!!

I wouldn't.

But lets not start another thread about pro or con for various sites!!

It's Friday night, I'm bored, let's.

IF we got a ground share, Liverpool would wan't something along the lines of a 65k seater. We would fill half of that at best. I don't want to end up like Man City with regards to their stadium, and just see a sea of empty blue seats every other week.

whilst the club remains hiding behind it's, apparently indefinite, exclusivity clause there'll be no progress on any other option. we can only pray the Decimation Kirkby proposal is killed off sooner rather than later.
