No. Think it was one of the 20+ sites considered for the ground move, one of many.

The Sainsburys link is up in the air, as supposedly they are extending their Rice Lane store, so why would they build one in Walton Hall Park as part of the stadium complex.

The Sainsburys link is up in the air, as supposedly they are extending their Rice Lane store, so why would they build one in Walton Hall Park as part of the stadium complex.

No they're expanding their existing store as they envisage a huge increase in customers every other Saturday from august till may.

massive site on east lancs/gilmoss currently being excavated. Not one single sign of any type. Very unusual.
