To be fair, Danny did get the first story on Vogel a few hours before EVERYBODY else, even the official site. All the media outlets were lacking on this. GrandOldTeam reigns supreme!!!

my dad has had a season ticket for ajax for about 10 years now and he was gutted when pienaar left. he said that he is defo going to be one of the greats but after that he (pienaar) went very quiet. but i think he will be a great signing if it comes off?

Hi, I think vogel and Pienaar would be amazing for us if we get them both I could see us getting a uefa cup spot again now that DM has shifted the deadwood.

Welcome! :)

Yeh I think you are right, but all moyes has done since he arrived is bring in better players and get rid of the ones not up to the job.

I don't see the point in Vogel myself, why do we need another defensive midfielder when we already have Carsley, Neville, Jagielka and that Brazillian guy that doesn't play much. We need to strenghten the wide areas and up front. Part of me thinks Moyesy has a serious fetish for defenders.:o

He may be a defensive mid, but he can play the ball well, and has a bit of skill. For free, he is deffo worth it.

It isn't quite free though when you consider his wages of say 20k for 2 years. That's 2m quid already. I know what you're saying but that position isn't our major priority.
