Crazy that a team in the 3rd tier of German football will be playing in the Allianz arena.

They won't be. They are theoretically looking to go to another stadium in the city (the Grünwalder stadium, where the reserves play) but at the moment it seems like they will not be able to fulfil the financial conditions for the third tier, so they might well be demoted to the fourth or fifth tier and/or go bust.
