Could have had a 1210 mk2 for that, and it'd keep its value if not appreciate.
 

The sound quality thing is really subjective/debatable. My gf's dads hifi is crazy, crazy expensive (well over 50k brand new), he spends all day talking it apart and changing things and he has given up with vinyl. most of his music is now wireless, and before that it was CD. He said vinyl quality varies so much that it's not worth it for your the speakers, but obviously that is proper top end stuff

I missed the dvk mix limited release of miro 'by your side', about 18 months to 2 years ago. A press of 50 total. I was very perturbed. Still rankles me now. Damn!

The purists have a room that`s virtually devoid of furniture and curtains too, as virtually any large object muffles the sound.

Every time I see him it's 'bought a new cable.... £500'

He does it pretty well though, he gets it all from eBay and just takes better pics/writes a description so ends up selling parts for profit a few years later
