There's a lot of guff about regarding how replacing Lukaku with a good hold up player is an idea.

Well, there's a footballer inside this guy and often it doesn't happen for some at a certain club. He holds the ball up and will score again, you'd think..

Son, now there is a player .

Would love to have Son in the team, although he doesn't really seem the kind of player to lead the line, and there's always the question of his national service commitments: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...nham-future-uncertain-due-to-his-mandatory-m/

He is actually quite popular with the fans despite his lack of goals. Always gives 100%. Was voted MoM against Swansea by the supporters.

The straq was popular for us mate, he was still woeful at the footy lark.

If Kane and son went down and you'd get forced to play him every week that popularity would rapidly fade.

A case of you jumping in to buy a player with only 6 months of great play in order to beat competition for him, a gamble that looks to have been too hasty.

Always wary of writing off a player coming from abroad in their first season, unless they look totally 'fish out of water'.

I actually haven't felt that way about Janssen. He hasn't been good, but he has decent technique and works hard. When these goalscorers come from Holland, usually they are shown up quickly for being well out of their depth technically, like Afonso Alves.

It seems to me that the issue with Janssen is that he came here too early. One season in Dutch football, followed by a massive leap in standard. He's only 22.

It wouldn't surprise me to see him do really well next year when bedded in, but no, we couldn't replace Lukaku with him - the risk is too high. But if Spurs were offloading him at a loss at around £10m, I wouldn't mind him coming in as a squad option if we did have to sell Rom. But it'd have to be with another more obvious first team striker.
