Villa Boas takes over Chelsea....

33 is young to take on such a big job. It's interesting that he was part of Mourinho's backroom staff at Chelsea. With Hiddink as Director of Football it could turn out to be a breath of fresh air. Guardiola is much younger than his rivals and he hasn't done too bad.

I've been raving about Hulk for about a year now, ever since I saw him play.

If he goes to Chelsea I will be devastated.

Man City were considering moving for the Hulk a while back but Porto were not interested. Now though, I think he will move for at least £30m this summer.

I think he's gonna be boas at Chelsea (bad pun intended). Falcao will probably join

Who have Porto been selling for so much by the way? I can think of a few, but ...

Porto last 5 seasons: 4 league titles + europa league win. 120m euros profit from transfer market operations (06-10) ??

Talks of him raiding Porto for Falcao and the Mout , a fee of 35m has been mentioned for Moutinho who , i think anyway cost them a little over 10m a year ago , massive profit to make on a player .

Thats us not getting Mout then .

Heard he has promised not to raid them for former players.

Er okay.

With the likes of lampard and drogba being the same age as him, does anyone really think he,ll have the respect he needs to command that dressing room. I mean a few years ago when he was opposition scout for mourinho they probably looked down on him as just another one of the backroom team compared to them being the superstars. He,ll need to get rid of the old guard there if its to work out.

I know nothing about the lid tbh - will watch with interest though - Chelsea job is a poisend chalice for me no way a manager can manage with Abromovich's influence.

Any self respecting manager wouldnt take the Chelsea job IMO, staff being sacked, players being bought over your head - i would think Villa - Boas and Rijkards of this world were prob the best they could do.

Not saying he wont prove to be a top manager - but Roman can never leave a manager be.
