Victor Wanyama

Spoke to a few boys up here all Celtic fans that have heard about Wanyama being linked to a move either to Manchester or Liverpool, no teams disclosed though. Just wondering if any lads down in the pool have heard anything or any stories in the press?

Funnily enough I actually posted wanyama in the 'could do a job for us thread'

Might be a total non story but just thought I'd see if any lads down the road have heard anything.

That's the only name I can remember being linked in the same story as Wanyama.

I absolutely hate the media up here, back pages full of crap. Not a decent rag between them

You think? I think he would soar in the EPL, he is still young though but after a couple of seasons I think he would be a star. Of course this is all ifs and buts as he as only played in the SPL but so far in the CL he has definitely done himself proud

Wanyama has been good everytime I've seen him. Which admittedly isn't many.

He'd suit it perfectly mate. He's basically a younger Yaya - and that's not just based off his CL appearances.

It does my box in, so unsettling for players if they don't have a strong mental block on rumours. Then some of the money grabbing players see a story and then demand moves and their performances drop. Ridiculous behaviour.

Probably Celtic's best player right now in my opinion, just ahead of Forster.

Forster has definitely surprised me this past year, he has been outstanding considering how poor he started off. Always talk of how he should be England's no.1 certainly think he merits at least a start in a friendly anyway

Ive only ever seen him in the SPL and I cant judge anyone who plays in that league with the dross on offer, he could be decent but I think Utd could do alot better look at the scrapping with chelski over future makelele john obi mikel years ago the guys ****e lol

He's certainly better than any other English keeper bar Hart

The press do it with any player who's doing well up in the SPL mate, Jelavic Hooper Wanyama etc..
Everton down here seem to be an SPL club though, any time a player performs well for a few games and bam they automatically are on the move. Sh*te.
