Verge of something special....?

If we had just signed messi and he had said this then i would believe him but we haven't so its lies!!!!
 

I may be mad as a box of frogs for saying this but we could be on the verge of something special, why not? What we have at Everton is a squad built over years under a manager that has been there for years. Everton has evolved under moyes and is undoubtedly now built in his image. The players know what is expected of them and endeavour to show it on the pitch (we can't win 'em all).
He's not perfect, there are things he needs to address such as our seasonally shoddy start etc.
The squads not perfect, but it's bloody good.
We have a rubbish board, we all know that. We don't have the money to throw around but that aside, we still manage to compete.
There are 2 shiny cups that are realistically up for grabs. In my opinion, we have the players, we have the manager, we definitely have the support.
I applaud our skipper for saying that we're on the verge of something special. It's a bold statement and it shows a commitment to the cause.

Werent we all saying we would qualify for the CL this time last season with more or less the same squad.
