Filmed in summer 2012, this documentary looks into how the former Premier League champions have declined so rapidly under Venky Ownership.

This week Blackburn bought Chris Taylor from Millwall, Simon Eastwood from the Skates, and Alan Judge from Notts County.

Not quite the Ronaldinho Venky's promised.

Venky's need to pick a manager and back him properly

4 managers in one season is a joke

There really should be FA rules of some sort to stop that happening

I don't think a manager of any worth will want to go there at the moment. The lack of job security if glaring, plus you don't get as much money as you would if you were manager for 3 months at Chelsea

I used to live in SE Asia, and knew a few of the staff and presenters at ESPN/Star Sports out there. When Shebby Singh was appointed there was much mirth, as those of us amongst the 310m subscribers in 26 countries used to regularly lose ribs as he would tactically analyse clubs during his stints on one of the many pundit shows they have. Poor Steve McMahon used to regularly lose it in reaction to some pearl of wisdom Shebby spouted - which was also TV gold.

The story isn't over yet. As long as Shebby has any pull at Blackburn, they've yet to find their low point.

True mate. I wonder how bad things need to get for the supporters to stage a full on revolt. The level of apathy in general is unbelievable.

There's quite a lot of disgruntlement amongst a certain section of the fan base.

I think the rest of the fan base are just broken. It must be so demoralising.

It doesn't help that the disgruntled ones are deifying Jack Walker. It's thanks in part to him that they are in this mess to begin with

Yeah, it is to the owners advantage that it is hard for supporters to mobilise on mass to oust owners of the Venkys ilk. There must be a tipping point though.

To be fair the owners have invested quite a bit of money in the squad, but at the same time they have destabilised the whole club to the point of calamity.

Jack Walker will always be seen as a Messiah type figure due to his love for the club and level of investment. He was just the right man at the right time. His wealth would be dwarfed by the modern day Russian/Middle east billionaire.

Although I don’t want to anything away from them, the rot had started to set in when they limped over the line to win the title. I don’t envy them one bit.

Walker is partly to blame because he invested a lot of money, but then withdrew the investment almost instantly. The club was a sinking ship before their title defense was finished with

That has to be the worst performance from a defending champion since the beginning of the Premier League? (Maybe Leeds in 92-93 was worse)

You're right though, despite all the investment, they still only just managed to win that title at the end of 94-95.

The speed of the drop off was crazy though

Got a funny feeling this lot might come up next year. A bit of stability and the goals from Jordan Rhodes at that level might be enough to see them up- plus I think the teams going down are relatively poor and may struggle.
