I was sick in a limo on the way to a strip club only 2 weeks ago in Vegas

You got to love it

The pool at the Hard Rock is worth a visit J-Train. Enjoy dude!

Met two sound Evertonians at the pool over the last few days. First one was Ian from Aintree and his family. Season ticket in the Bullens...masive Blue and sound lid. He's on Kipper, but I've talked him into joining GOT.

Second one was Mark today from Aigburth (sp?)....season ticket holder in the Main Stand...Great lid...although his accent was a lot thicker...I think I got every 3rd word. We chatted for a bit and he was wearing an Everton floppy hat...after a few minutes, he said "it's yours, take it". COYB.

All in all a fairly low key trip this time. Had a great time as usual, but not wild stories for you boys and girls. As mentioned, met a couple of Blues and their associated Red family/friends...all were incredibly nice and the banter was great. Got to talking to a Red named Mikee, and we were going back and forth for an hour.

Me: "Do you go to the games"
Mikee: "Not any more"
Me: "So typical Liverpool fan then"
Mikee: "Have you ever been to Goodison?"
Me: "No not yet, planning a trip in April"
Mikee: "It's a dump, and yous don't even sell out"
Me: "At least you can hear English being spoken there"

He was sound though. Grew up in West Derby, and had really nice things to say about Everton's outreach with the kids. He admitted, Everton do a far better jobs with coaching the kids and teaching the game in Merseyside...his lad's coaches were all Evertonians. He said LFC do very little for the local community.

I've convinced the aforementioned Ian (earlier in the thread) to join GOT. So when he gets around to posting, just know that he's on Team Jdawg, and is entitled to all the right and privileges associated. His wife and two daughters (although Reds) were lovely. They're still in Vegas until Wednesday though, while I'm home now. The Bastards.

I'm looking forward to my trip over even more now, if the people I met were any indication of the type of people on Merseyside (and I'm sure it is).
