I think the expected loss of Saha will see us revert to the trusted 4 - 5- 1 with Yakubu on his own up front, Vic will remain on the bench until needed later on in games.

No, he offered us those terms but we rightly and politely turned it down.

I wouldn't get rid of him, not a chance. The boy has alot of talent and sometimes players struggle with injuries at the beggining of there career.

Look at Leon Osman for example, thank god we didn't get rid of him. We stuck by him, he recovered from his injuries, revelled on Loan and broke into the team at 23...

He's not on a big wage and he's worth sticking with for me. Once he recovers from his injury send him out on loan and see what happens. Give him that run of games he desperatly needs.

We certainly can't depend on him though, he needs a loan.

Agreed with that. Why sell Vaughan at this stage? The lad nearly didn't cost us anything, coming through the ranks at Bellefield. He clearly has a lot of abillity, only for injuries to hamper his progression. Try to get him fit and out on loan. He could be a very good player for us in the future.
