Vaughan at Palace. Match 3 update

He's scored 5 in 11 for them now -- admittedly including a hatrick -- but he really seems to have matured. Is there still room for him here? Not sure he'd fit in to the current system, but he's the kind of player I'd like to see partner the Yak in a 4-4-2.

Typical Vaughan performance for us. A class above, but frankly compared to some of ours (six starters today under 22) he is a seasoned pro.
Terrible decision for our pen, (Danns conned the ref), worse decision for theirs. Garvan is a mouthy ****, how do you get booked for dissent and then immediately afterwards get a straight red for foul and abusive language? Hope Burley fines him. They were battering us but Speroni was superman as usual and then their equaliser was a bus ride offside. No complaints about their winner though.Stupid challenge on a player going away from goal. Frankly proud of the players for keeping going.Big on guts, low on nouse. At least I'll be less stressed next week.(At Goodison with my son v WBA)

Does Vaughan want to stay with Palace, do you think ?

I reckon he would. Seems to be getting on well and is by far their best player (just better than Speroni who is immense). However, Palace may well get relegated in which case in not sure he would go that far down and to be fair he is too good to go that far.

4-4-2 has been banned for the past 8 years unless we are chasing a game with 20 minutes to go

It was purely hypothetical. Something needs to change for us, and I'm hoping Moyes finally gives in and allows a bit of change.

Although I suppose Hibbo getting a hattrick with his arsecheeks is about as likely.
