agreed that there is no way he would last 90 minutes but I like the idea of him coming on at say 60 for a impact in the last 1/3 of the game, kinda of an attacking option with out bring on a out and out striker (not that we have so many to bring on as a sub)

He is the kind of player we need, a wide man or winger whatever you want to call the type, who can go down the wing and by doing so discourage the opposing FB from going forward. Their Italian Dossano?? had far too much space and freedom. What is Osman supposed to be doing??

Listened to Moyes interview on BBC and he's praised Shandy a couple of times, hopefully he gets abit more Football as he gives us something different. More width and some more quality on the ball.

He's still got the brain to take on players and he's superb at crossing and looked quite nippy last night.

He won't get a new contract but hopefully he does his bit to get us further in the cup and cement a UEFA cup place in the league. He owes us after all.

It would be stupid to rule him out as an option even though im not a fan, would be with TB on this though, i gauerntee if he played a full prem game hed pull his hamstring or something his body couldnt be conditioned for 90 mins in the prem.

I'd rather he do it playing a competative match than in training/a reserve game or just in general to be fair.

Give him a run. Its the 1st time he's been 100% fit.

I doubt Moyes would start him because one thing he expects from his wide men is the discipline to track back and help out their full back. I'm not sure VDM would do much of that. If we need a spark late in the game though he could be that man.

VDM is arguably our best player if he gets back on form, he does want to play for the Blues, but I don't nkow what it is with him, he is fantastic on the pitch, but it doesn't seem that h wants to fight for his place

Well played AVDM :)
