Its all well and good beating Stoke 4-0 at home. While I'm thrilled to bits about the result, its the games against the Sky 4 where the real ambition of a team shines through the most.

I was delighted when I saw Mirallas and Barkley were benched today. It helped me realise even more that Martinez is not joking around.

This is Moyes' cup final. Make no mistake. He'll be desperate to win this. It's going to be a bitter pill to swallow if we get beat.

and we all know from our own experiences watching for ten years how well moyes traditionally does in those pressure cooker cup final type games mate, thats why im confident to the extreme, a leopard dont change his spots, moyes will revert to type and prioritise not getting beat or protecting a slim lead if they get it over trying to dominate the game

He really does believe top 4 is their for the taking mate, that stoke team selection screamed it out loud, as did taking mccarthy and lukaku off when the game was in the bag, the performance from those coming into the team for that game vs stoke also told me the players have totally bought into boberto and believe in him now, not so long ago, i have a feeling that we would have struggled badly dropping 2 influencal players with a 3rd already injured for a game like that (and i mean even under martinez at the start of the season) strange how things can change so quickly and with one result (the derby)

For the first time ever in my life, I feel like we can go to Old Trafford and win! Is this the Martinez factor? Or is it because the legend that is Old Whisky Nose is no longer at the helm at United?

Once today's out the way for United, in the run up to Wednesday their media lackey's attentions will be fully focused on disrupting Everton's preparations. Expect loads of stories about fraught professional relationships within our camp and players leaving us in January. Martinez will be targeted most of all, I suspect.

For the first time in years i can see us out scoring anyone we play, especially given how poor Utd have been in defence.

Does anyone know if Rooney picks up a yellow today hes ruled out for our match?

With a bit of luck rooneys suspended, rio picks up one of his all to frequent knocks, Moyes gets absolute dogs abuse and loses his head, rvp gets in angry man mood like he does time to time and has a kick out and we go on to win by a few goals

Question 1 for DM at press conference.....
Do you think Man U are playing better footy this year than last?
Q2 = do you think everton are playing better this year than last.
= light blue touch paper and retire to safe place!!!

Valencia and Rooney both on 4, yes.

He'll say something snide in the next few days. Guaranteed.

Don't think we should underestimate how difficult this fixture will be. Last year vs Swansea moyes had us marking all of their defence when their keeper had the ball, and Fellaini won everything when they ended up going long. I think we'll be up against similar tactics on Wednesday.

I am feeling pretty confident about this game, a win or not who know's,but if we play as we have been doing we have a chance instead of been beat before we enter the field like we have done at OT most times,we have nothing to lose as most will expect a defeat so we might as well go for it-known everton as we do that confidence will be gone if we conceed early

If we go there and have a real good go at them, go to win and try to win play a team that can win i do not mind if you lose 1 or 2 nil.

If we go and try to get a 0-0 like in the Moyes era then ill be ****ed if we get beat like.
