Until they get to 40 points, best to play it safe though Dave. I think Moyes will be made up with draw here.

I reckon Moyes will be having sleepless nights in the run up to this game. It's obviously going to be billed as Moyes v Martinez. He has more to lose than Roberto though.

I only wish the game wasn't midweek, so there would be more of a buildup. Anything less than a win is a problem for Moyes here.

Thats what i thought, then i realised if it was he'd bottle it and we'd win.

Reckon he'll be desperate to beat us to prove to our fans how great he is and how lucky we were to have him so will go all out to get the win, hopefully leaving plenty of space for us and our defence have a good game.

It's an intriguing match. Moyes still has the better cards to play though. Despite the criticism they have a lot of class players used to winning at OT. If there's a way, though, Martinez is the manager to find it.

Dishing out the spanking Wigan gave us last year in the cup while thousands of us sing ' alleh alleh alleh oh' non-stop is too much to even think about.

Them two against Barry and McCarthy.

Wow.

I think that'll be a close run thing, tbh. Against Liverpool we obvioulsy had the edge going in with our midfield over a Lucas/Gerrard pairing because they're so immobile. Fellaini/Cleverly will present more problems. I know Cleverly is often derided, but he's a decent player and wont be found wanting in that battle. Felli we know can be a monstor on his day.

who do we reckon will start on the wings?
I suppose mirallas was rested for the sake of this match but deulofeu looked pretty good today

i'm sure that's true. Historically Moyes isn't very good at hding his anxieties from his players so that may well play in our favour. It's a bit like having a boss at work who doesn't really believe in his staff, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

The reverse was true when Fergie was there. He had 100% confidence in his own ability and that fed through to his side and his supporters. For sure, they have decent players, a few top class ones and a deeper squad, but they can only play 14 of them.

There's no reason why we can't get a result there.

I would love to go in the game ahead of them. I would be absolutely, positively, undeniably made up if we could come out of the game with more points. ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ OH.
