This is Moyes' cup final. Make no mistake. He'll be desperate to win this. It's going to be a bitter pill to swallow if we get beat.

Oh I can see the nicey nicey smile right now..

A patronising pat on the back from Steve round as your walking off.. Just the though of such is the team talk !

I dont think we'll have too much joy there, tbh.

I know we're flying at the minute, but they are desperate for three points to stay even within peering distance of Arsenal now. I can see us facing their very best team and it'll be difficult to handle both Rooney and van Persie and get some momentum going out of defence. Those two will be pressing all night.

United followed by Arsenal less than 4 days later is going to be unbelievably tough. I can see us coming out of those with just a point, tbh. If we do better than that it'll be very welcome.

Pfft. We'll either beat Utd or Arsenal.
Confidence breeds success breeds confidence. Rinse and repeat.
The ginger one will be bricking it so I reckon Old Trafford is where we'll get our 3 points.

3,000 Evertonians singling "Are you watching David Moyes" at the Theatre of Dreams. Priceless that

*disclaimer - I've had a drink.

Whilst feeling more positive than ever I think it's important to remember it wasn't too long ago we were played off the park by the bottom club.

Sorry to put a negative in. But important to have some perspective.

Actually, it's a fair point, but you've been browbeaten into believing we can't believe. It's all about belief. Rejoice in our new found optimism, cast off the dark cloak of "Plucky over-achieving Everton" and join those of us who remember when Everton were truly boss and think we can be again.

We
Will
Smash
'Em

( 1-0 with a Ferdinand own goal )

Nah! No way. Played off the park is a massive exaggeration. Yes they had a couple of golden chances and thats it.

Until they get to 40 points, best to play it safe though Dave. I think Moyes will be made up with draw here.

Depends how they get on tomorrow. If they don't play well and/or get a result they'll be nervous. If it's the opposite they'll be on a little run and a much tougher prospect.

As for the actual game it'll probably come down to who plays better out of Jones and McCarthy in midfield. Come on Jamesy.

Thats what i thought, then i realised if it was he'd bottle it and we'd win.

Reckon he'll be desperate to beat us to prove to our fans how great he is and how lucky we were to have him so will go all out to get the win, hopefully leaving plenty of space for us and our defence have a good game.
