You knew what Amazon's WACC was because you looked it up. The problem was you thought it was the same as the interest rate they were paying on debt.
You told us Bezos was happy to borrow at 8% because Amazon's WACC was 8%. It is probably one of the funniest but most ill-informed posts I have ever seen and that truly is saying something.
Is there anything I can offer to help inflame the situation further lads?
You're WACC.You knew what Amazon's WACC was because you looked it up. The problem was you thought it was the same as the interest rate they were paying on debt.

Can Trevor Azul give any inside information that I am in fact Donald Trump on the side (and you lot are a bunch of red neck hicks).
Digging even deeper Catcher.I have no idea where you would even look WACC up, it's not in the balance sheet etc. It's a calculation, which I performed to tell you what Amazons cost to access capital was.
And Bezos is happy to pay 8% to access capital. As I indicated earlier this is a subtle difference from borrowing (though borrowing is part of the calculation) but in this example it's not a critical one. The key is, Bezos is happy to pay 8% to have access to capital, so the existence of a 7% fee to borrow capital does not automatically mean Usmanov isnt involved (or that he is involved). You cant generalise from it.
Jeff Bezos is in for buying Newcastle. Cheers. TA.Can Trevor Azul give any inside information that I am in fact Donald Trump on the side (and you lot are a bunch of red neck hicks).

Amazon are borrowing at just over 2% that is a two-second calculation. You brought WACC in to it because you thought that was the same as the interest rate that they are paying on the money they have borrowed.
You haven't even realised the really stupid part of what you have posted. In order to calculate WACC you have to determine the Cost of debt.
As for not knowing how to look up WACC up. Again it is a two second google search. Yesterday you were telling us you flip companies and make massive profits in 3-6 months.

Bro stfu spamming the page about Amazon just to feed your know it all secret king BS ego. No one cares. I come here to read about Usmanov not about how big or small Jeff Bezos' WACC is.Digging even deeper Catcher.

Cool so you don't care that we are borrowing £100m+ at 7% instead of 2% because the banks won't touch us.
I still think this is the best response in the whole debate lollollol played Matty lad
