Well, I aint no expert, but other than insider trading, I dont think its illegal to help a mate out with a few bob, when legally, you have zero links to the business he owns.

I keep hearing that Moshiri's involvement as the M in USM is the element that lifts eyebrows more than any Usmanov mirage.

Though I am more concerned with hearing about funding for BMD when planning permission is inevitably granted.

Like you, I have no insight into the inner workings of USM. Dont even know if it is a listed company, or a private one. Neither do I know if the M is Moshiri. Nor do I know if he is actually a part owner, and if he is, what % he owns. Ergo, what, if any, influence he has

What I do think though, that after all the twists and turns what with Red Holdings, Blue Holdings, selling shares in Arsenal, buying shares from Moshiri, Liverpool Waters, Liver Building, etc etc etc, any potential dangerous link will have been severed. Legally anyrate

I don't even pretend to know what Moshiri and Usmanov are going to do to get around all the financial restrictions, but I believe that they know what they are doing and will achieve their goal one way or another.
