Back a few decades ago we played Inter Milan in the EC and lost but the ref was fixed as it came out later. We had a solid RV goal disallowed.

I was level with that and it was never off side. Was that when we went to Milan in a mini for the second leg...Colin Harveys debut, and we lost 1-0, the winger Jairzhino scoring? Its a long time ago but I remember the stadium being a concrete mass, and everyone being really friendly. Whats happened since then?

As was I steve, Vernon wasn't offside, but I found (and lost, but it is out there) a 5 sec. clip which showed Young heading the ball back across the goal for Vernon to slot and I think Young might have been...stricter interpretations back then.

Anyone know if there is any truth that Usmanov has a non compete clause associated with selling his shares in Arsenal?

Supposedly lasting two years that he cant invest in another club?

Havnt heard that but I'm happy to go along with it, so he can invest properly just before the stadium is completed ;)

I read this as Usmanov was involved in buying him by providing the cash to CSKA.

CSKA Moscow are owned by VTB Bank, the second largest state bank in Russia, and said to be close to Putin. However, I think Usmanov has been sponsoring Dinamo Moscow since 2008, but I don't know what he has done for them.
