Im saying Klopp has done nothing to deserve the fawning he gets. This is his 4th season with Liverpool, nothing this year and you've got to say he's been a failure given how much money he's on and how much he's had to spend.
Much of that is to do with the fact that 3/4 of the pundits in this country seem to be ex RS players, if it was a bit more spread across the board i don't think you would see quite the Klopp love-in that goes on at the moment.

The sad thing is mate its not even just quality of player at the moment - their manager is genuinely top quality when you look at what he did at Dortmund and how he's turned that lot from jokers under Dogleash and Todgers to a genuine threat. They have leaders on the pitch and seem to have a decent recruitment policy and an overall plan to develop and grow.

Atleast under Moyes you could argue we had solid recruitment, strong mentality (to an extent) and had the odd leader and fighters on the pitch - we were just hamstrung by Kenwright being skint.

Rodgers came much closer to winning the league though. And before anyone says he had suarez, Salah scored more than him last season and the squad Klopp has is a lot better than what Rodgers had to work with.

To be honest it’s not just the ex players, just listen to talk sport. And the likes of Brazil, White and Durham spend half their shows talking about them. It’s them lot and the ex players that keep this notion going they they are still a huge successful club, only a fraction behind Utd.

When In reality if you’re a young player from abroad, you probably see City & Chelsea as bigger clubs, because you have seen them win titles. Will be quite funny if they go another 10 years with no trophies, you will have former Liverpool and England captain Jordan Henderson on MOTD With a league cup to his name.

Would be the first liverpool manager not to win anything in his first four seasons if they go trophyless again......winning without winning etc

Of course there is

Of course I can see what you mean but as far as I can tell (& I am trying to avoid watching and hearing about them as much as possible so I may be wrong) he hasn't turned into Damien from the Omen yet which is what usually happens to anyone that gets even a whiff of that club. So I choose to believe he is just using them to get the Barca gig and for that I can't hate him. :)

Hes also doesnt win anything, he would be perfect for us.

Well yes, but least he is getting them close and out of those finals he has lost to decent City and Chelsea teams, no way they would have beaten Real no matter who was managing them. That Sevilla result is the one that he is probably most culpable of but he had only been there a few months and tbf Sevilla were not novices in winning European trophies. The point is if he keeps up like this one day they will get a team they can beat or the opposition will have an off day. I will be a relieved man when Klopp leaves, until then we just have to hope for a not too trivial injury to Salah any time they get close to winning something.

Hes a decent manager, but he still hasnt done any better than Rodgers did, infact Rodgers probably did a better job.

He will bail WHEN they win zip this season.
They'll turn on him as they always end up doing. Rafael, Kenny, Rodgers all show the pattern except they all won something and had that to fall back on. His time will come.

To bring it back on topic...
Would be nice if Usmanov does buy another decent club like AC Milan that he still does the odd favour for his mate Mosh. A few more sponsorship deals and some mutually beneficial player loans would be alright.
