Usmanov

Maybe he doesn’t want to be presumptuous and is publicly telling Moshiri that he just needs to ask? The ball is now in Moshiri’s court and now the fans all know it.

They probably talk most days - If something's happening it will be at an advanced stage imo. Talk of him buying another club is either legit or a smokescreen.

Not sure how it would work, strikes me that Usmanov wants control so where would that leave Moshiri? Though I do wonder sometimes if Mosh is a Trojan horse for Usmanov, just can't see them sharing the train set.

By the sounds of those quotes from Bloomberg it sounds more like if Mosh needs help with sponsorship / namimg rights etc. He'll help whereas the quotes on "possible good return on investment I'll consider a deal" are when asked about clubs in Europe like Milan.

Obviously he wouldnt want to give anything away too much in an interview... but I still think he'll buy a club abroad and still invest money into us proxy via Moshiri. That way he has 2 bites of the CL cherry.

Get him to sign a 100-year USM Holdings naming deal for Finch Farm valued at 200m a season, then we'll be sound and he wouldn't even need to purchase us outright.

If he comes on board there's no chance of the loan from the council.

He also has to invest in world class players to compete with the top 4. Your talking about 4 or 5 players to the tune of 500m

He's buying Everton …. It's been the plan all along.

Whether it will be overt or simply continuing to bung his mate Mosh the money makes no difference. We'll have a shiny new 60k+ stadium, a squad of top class players and will be competing in Champions League by 2023.
