We've already taken the mick with some of our 'commercial deals', Usmanov can just sort out some more 'commercial deals' that are definitely fair value and not just a way to put money into the club...

Look at their petty fine for QPR. I would want us to throw obscene amounts of money at becoming title contenders. as soon as we're good, they won't care and then give us a crappy fine that we'd laugh off. That's the way football works these days, rules mean nothing when it comes to money.

I tend to agree with this but if this lad does come on board it will make selling the dream a lot easier to a much better class of player. Once we have a few of those we should see more than marginal gains, so fingers crossed it happens.
