The hard part of believing for me has all along been thinking he would ever dispose of his Arsenal shares.

If he does do that then it’s entirely credible to think he would take over here and finally get the control of a club he craves.

Moshiri would hardly stand in his way. It would be a big help if we could start getting the stadium going in a real sense.

I would not have the slightest moral or ethical issues with Usmanov. The game has been dirty for donkeys years. If it allowed us to compete on a level playing field and rejoin the elite there are very few people I would object to.

My take on it is that no one ever accrued billions of pounds by being nice and being honest. All billionaires are essentially crooks. Hopefully Usmanov will be our crook.
