It's been reported they have just 50m to spend despite sacking wenger, and could lose more stars this summer, they are a long way off getting back into the cl.
Haven't seen kronke other sporting teams but I can pretty much guess they haven't won much recently.

I bought shares in BT back in the day and didn't expect a place on the board. It was an investment.
His shares would be ideal for some pension fund type investment.

Don't know but is a Dividend relevant to a pension scheme. Arsenal (I don't think) don't do them and AU has no control over it.

I pay my pension each month and the pension company then invests it in all sorts of things depending on risk.
To me in investing in Arsenal would be low risk. Just sit on the shares for however long and sell once a nice profit is to be made.

Whoever does buy them wouldn't hold them for long anyway as I think Kronke would have them off them at a tidy profit. Don't think Usmanov will sell to him.
As we all know Kronke needs them so he can float Arsenal on the U.S. stock exchange as he has done with his other businesses.

Divis are attractive to pension schemes, obviously. But in my professional opinion, not a chance that a pension scheme would buy 30% of a football club. If they go over 5% of any company, then all sorts of obligations fall in their laps.

Also, we, as football fans see Arsenal as "Low Risk". Believe you me, to the pension industry, they are very much High Risk. One major income stream, one customer base, a board of directors who have little actual control over company performance. (Compared to say BP, or Sainsburys)

From a rational point of view, investing in Arsenal makes little sense to me. As a major holding anyrate. It has the sniff of The top of the Curve to me.

From an ego, washing/legitimising cash, basis, deffo. Banking on an Asian/Indian/US expansion re TV and income, I can see the narrative. But I reckon some clubs have maxed out in the medium term. Arsenal are one of them. Chelsea as well fwiw.
