IF Usmanov did ever intend to leave Arsenal and come here or to any other club, then causing maximum unrest before doing so would be massively to his benefit - a disrupted Arsenal damages major potential future rival.

Lets hope so, Billionaires fighting over Arsenal. Then Stans wife comes in and buys them.
 
Genuinely not meaning to be confrontational but I think the stick the Esk got in here once USM were confirmed as Finch Farm sponsors was way over the top. He was goaded for his opinion that Usm would not join Moshiri because of that sponsorship deal indicating it was iminent.

Seems his view / opinion was a decent prediction and Usmanov has Arsenal in his sights, certainly at the moment.

I'm not sure what the point of my post is to be honest other than just to say, anyone contributing to the forum - even if you think he or she is talking nonsense - deserves to be treated with respect.

I'll get off my soap box / high horse at the next station. Promise.

When you get a waterfront stadium and an owner with real money, lots of things can happen.

Here's what's happening in my fair city this summer. It'll be boss.

This is right slap next to Everbank Field, and contains an indoor practice facility for the Jaguars as well as a 5000+ seat concert venue.

Pretty much, yeah.

Been done to death in the Stadium Thread. The theory I arrived at once I heard about one player being involved/interested that is.

It makes complete sense to me. How that relates to him offering to buy Kroneke out is simple; he succeeds, and he owns Arsenal whilst his mate prepares the ground for him to make a killing out of Liverpool Waters, he fails, sells up, and goes balls deep into Liverpool Waters/EFC.

Might be miles out, but the logic is, er, logical.

Phase one of the project were improvements to the stadium including enhancements to their US Assure Clubs, which sit on the 50-yard line, and the East and West Clubs got full renovations. Both projects were completed for the 2016 National Football League season.

Phase two, Daily’s Place and the flex-field, broke ground for 2016. The entire flex-field and amphitheater are under a shared-roof structure. The flex-field will be used for Jaguar practices, pregame hospitality events for Jaguars games, trade shows and community events that would require a covered space.

“The stage of the amphitheater backs up to the flex-field and those airline-hanger doors will open up,” said Johnson. Combined, the venues are 160,000 sq.-ft; 94,000 sq.-ft. for the flex-field and 66,000 for the amphitheater.

Populous is the designer of the new venues. “Populous has been working with the Jaguars for several years,” said Jonathan Mallie, principal and director of the New York office, Populous. The design process took about two months. The contractor was Hunt Construction.

“It was an extremely aggressive construction schedule,” said Mallie, who added that digital modeling allowed them to expedite the construction.

The project is a part of a private-public partnership between Khan and the city of Jacksonville. Ninety-million dollars was budgeted for Daily’s Place along with improvements to EverBank Field, split 50-50 between the two entities. The naming rights deal with Daily’s Place is for five years and there is an option to extend.

Oh, too much - about 45 mill went into the stadium and the rest went into the new concert facility. It's the old public/private tango. Still, the old Metro park structure that hosted the outdoor concerts was ready to fall down and had to be pulled down, so this is a deal that is at the right time.

Shad put up some real dosh on his end, and the project has come off remarkably well. Deadlines met, no hint of cost overruns yet.

Yet.
