The theory, well researched by a respected Journo I cant recall, is that he uses the cash cow that is Arsenal to underwrite his US borrowings and investments into his US sport portfolio.
So he makes a few bob out of Arsenal directly, but tons more indirectly.

That's the Russian way around controlling 2 clubs mate, it's been done in Russia before - the accountant effectively owns one club while the real money owns the other - whilst the real money actually owns both.

Current value of his total shares is roughly 920m dollars mate (based on the current exchange rate) etc
so Usmanov has offered like 300m higher than their 'market value'
For reference on the rate he paid for Moshiris shares the value would have set Kroenkes 67% at about 1.16m dollars
So it is in no way a low ball offer.
