The link chico put in the moshiri thread to bloomies article states that if were in Europe UEFA may sanction us for this agreement...

Unless its at fair market value which makes sense to me....we havent circumvented anything in fact and perhaps we would have been penalised after all if we were in Europe in the next 5 years if it had been a larger amount...makes sense now.

So we're all correct....odd that USM are sponsoring the training ground BUT done at a 'fair price' to boost up the shirt sponsorship from £11mil to £15mil...not a huge amount but within the rules.

Interesting...

If it creates trouble for EFC, does it not create more so for Arsenal?

All this is being done to increase revenue so we don't fall further behind the teams ahead of us. Once the stadium is fully agreed(which I think already is) then Usmanov will sell his arsenal shares and come out of moshiris shadow. Exciting times indeed.

I asked this question months ago;

Why did Usmanov buy (bail) his friend (Moshiri )out of Arsenal while he had earlier stated that he isnt happy at Arsenal him self? Because Kroenke has basically froze Usmanovs part in that cluB.

Wouldn't be surprised if there isn't a bit of 'koff Kroenke in this move to sponsor, regardless of any intent to buy a portion of EFC

They won't win it but I'm sure they'll get Champions League and they're in with a very good chance of winning the League Cup.

I honestly just can't be arsed with our fans making tits of themselves like in the summer. Everyone was buzzing about our supposed 100m transfer budget and we ended up with a negative net spend. I think we should wait until something actually happens before revelling in them 'fuming'.
