This is the first time I have ever seen or heard United's training ground referred to as owt other than "Carrington".

This bears out the belief held by many on here that there is not a great deal by way of publicity in sponsoring training grounds, Sky reporters stood outside on transfer deadline day being the only time I ever see a reporter and cameras hanging around outside one.

IMO this is definitely a way of bringing investment into the club in a manner which fits the FPP rules rather than a genuine PR exercise on behalf of Carter.

Man City btw have a similar deal ... interesting when you look at the spending power of both those clubs they have similar expedients in place to boost themselves in FFP terms
