US Blues... how do you get EFC gear?

I've been itching to buy some Everton gear and would like to support the club by purchasing through their megastore. However the shipping cost to the US has stopped me being nearly £25.

Maybe I am being too cheep but I merely want to buy a couple of shirts. Do you US based blues know of any stateside outlets or websites for genuine Everton gear? I'm not really looking at ebay as an option since the selection is so limited and tends mainly to be older kits.

try sportsdirect as shipping may not be so expensive
or jjb (last resort)
ebay shouldnt be too bad for shipping and i've seen a new kit on there.
or kitbag.

i doubt if any would charge £25 for shipping tbh.

I've always bought mine though the OS Megastore but I guess World Soccer Shop would work for you domestically.

I've bought through the OS, and yep - it was about 25 pounds shipping costs (I'm in Australia).

I've also bought through Sports Direct, and it seemed to be much cheaper from memory. The cheapest option still has been to get it delivered to a friend in the UK (about 4 pounds delivery), and then they've sent it to me in the post (MUCH cheaper).

Maybe someone on here would be willing to organise that for you if you send them the funds somehow?

FYI, I bought through the OS megastore on Sunday and got the goods on Wed. Can't beat that. Since the exchange rate has dropped off, I went ahead and bit the bullet on shipping. There were some pretty good deals on the site. My son is wearing his shirt to school today. He's pumped.

Love your avatar. Ventura didn't have a clue what was coming when he charged the mound.

Good idea on taking advantage of the exchange rate.

We were going through my younger son's closet a few days ago and we found a child size Everton polo shirt that was a bit too small for him.

Time to reload.

tx, i had made a thread ranting about the absurd shipping costs a while back. unfortunately, it drove me to go to ebay, where smart UK based buyers realized they could cash in off buying them for the relatively low shipping rates (sport direct used to sell them very cheap with free shipping in the uk, but the shipping to the US was also around 25 £.) and selling them for slightly more than what they paid, which is still a good deal.

i really think its a failing on the clubs part, they can't expect to increase the clubs worldwide profile when these high shipping rates are alienating a crucial growing market.

on ebay you usually get limited options, but its probably your best value. it also requires patients, as you're probably not going to find a kit in the size you want the first time you search.

really £25. i only pay $14 i think. and for some reason get 20% what ever i buy aswell

Just bought a long sleeve Coleman shirt, $11.40 shipping to PA.

OS must be having a sale because the advertised price is cheaper when you checkout. Long sleeve shirts $41.91, short sleeve $34.92. Shipping is now $11.65.

Ok, funny story here.

So we order a bunch of stuff off Everton Direct back in early November and got it in mid November. Everything was in order and the shipment was correct. Very happy here.

No kidding, I get a call from UPS last week saying that we owe $90.00 in "shipping charges."

Needless to say, I call UPS and tell them:

1) I don't have a clue what you're talking about and
2) Why are we just now hearing about this?

I'll give credit to the gal at UPS. She was very professional and polite and said that apparently, there were some customs charges that somehow didn't get paid for. I told her I've never had that issue before. She said she'd get with the shipper on the UK end to see if they couldn't get it rectified. If they can't, then I may have to get with Everton Direct on this.

If that doesn't get it sorted, then I've got to pony up some more quid. We'll see what happens.
