Matt; she has radio mon - fri and chemo 4 hours after the radio on a tuesday
Lcab; her tastebuds are shot, all she fancies is ricicles and she's gone right off sausages. The nurse did compare some side effects to that of pregnancy though. The first week she was unbelievably tired but as times passed she's got better and better - yesterday she hoovered through, did the past 2 weeks worth of ironing, scrubbed the house and mowed the lawn; I was gobsmacked! its like she's nesting and she's trying to get all done before her 48 hours in isolation with brachiotherapy. At first she said its like 10 times worse than flu. She is having insomnia - they've put her on diazepam which is helping though. She hasn't been hungry until saturday and since then she's not stopped!! No hair loss at all either :) oh and yeah, loads of fluids to protect you'd kidneys and help your circulation! - hope this is of some help! :)

It IS !!!

Thank you , an' my best wishes to your Mate .

She IS however , a woman , an' thus stronger than me .

She had the PICC removed earlier and is feeling great now, its a huge psychological boost to her knowing chemo is over. She's been smiling too which melted my heart - its been so long since I've seen her "happy". 4 more radios now, a week break, 48hours of internal radio then 6 weeks later another mri. Fingers crossed :)
