If it wasn't for my Wife forcing me to go the Dr's my outlook would be vastly bleaker.
From a personal POV the NHS is on its arse and I dont like to impose so I just muddle through.
Some things on unmuddle tho.
In my limited experience, people are.often afraid to speak because this narcissistic environment we live in, the conditions put on us.. they dont want to be labelled as different. Which is really frustrating. In fact frustrating isnt even a strong enough word.
As i say, in my experience.
I currently have 1 of those cancer thingies, recovery is going well and I should be watching Everton for many more years.
But my Auntie has currently been diagnosed with 1 of them cancers were you dont get to watch Everton.
Life is short, enjoy every second.

It got me with just the Thread title..Women are great for that. About a year ago, one of my closest friends started feeling very ill in town while out shopping with his missus. He wanted to go home, but she looked at him, was worried and forced him to go to a doctor there and then and waited with him. He was sent to A and E and it turns out he was having a heart attack. He wasn't even 40 at the time (though he is now). Her insistence that he got seen to probably saved his life.
Glad to hear your outlook is good Goat and sorry to hear about your auntie. To everyone else who has opened up about your issues on this thread, best of luck to you all and, as the thread says, you're in my thoughts
