It's a very important moment for Evertonians too, and not just in a 'bitter' sense. It'll cement years of Liverpool decline and affect them psychologically. And if we can get above them it would be a sweet moment. They lurch from crisis to crisis.

You wonder why they call us bitter. Give it a rest Dave.

Cant understand that response. What attitude should we take to seeing them overtaken by United?

I would put money on them claiming that the lack of competition, decline of modern football, vast disparity in wealth between the top and bottom clubs etc etc will mean that everything since 1992 shouldnt count, or should have a little * after it, a point which would be unarguable but for the fact they have been eating at the top table almost all of that time.

They can claim all that if they like. It'd make it even better if they did.

This forum if ****ing brilliant

Well in Dave

Great day today

Without tempting fate, for the first time I can smell #19.

Hope your right mate

We didnt play well today but won easily

Fatigue can only deny you now, I reckon. That schedule below looks punishing (the intensity as much as the number) and will settle matters. Assuming you finish the job off against Chelsea in the CL:

23rd April home v Everton
26th April away Inter/Schalke
1st May away v Arsenal
4th May home Inter/Schalke
8th May home v Chelsea

Could well work out that Rooney's ban does you a favour by keeping him fresh. I'm also glad to see Valencia back. He turns defence into attack very quickly, and he's also fresh going into the final period of the season.
