Not at all. Goodison plays off whats going on better than any ground I know. When it's angry its unbeatable. If we sing for 90 mins we ruin the genuine atmosphere and it all becomes plastic.

I was at the Palace game and whilst they were noisy it was unnessecary and didn't appear to be supporting the players.

Big difference between singing songs and a good, loud atmosphere.

We don't do it often but when we do, we do it better than any ground in English football. See home match against West Ham, Fiorentina, Man Utd 04-05, against City a couple years back (the Osman winner game) for just a few examples.

As far as a loud atomsphere goes, our fans at away matches are more often than not louder than the home crowd.
