Aright, im a noob with a question

How much money Do we get for Finishing top of the Uefa group?

Can anyone point me in the direction of the payment structure for the later rounds?

I personally don't know the answer, but if someone doesn't reply soon enough i'll try and look it up.
 
Hiya mate, cheers. Ive been reading toffeeweb for a while and just thought i would come and join in. Ive looked on the Uefa site but it doesnt tell you much about anything really. TO be honest just being in the competition is good enough for me but if we can make a bit of cash out of it it would be nice to know how much so we can determine how much of it is being spent on useful stuff, like Riquleme

That's prize money. There will also be a little bit from tv money, the extra home games will hopefully bring in some, the success will improve our UEFA co-efficient and that will have value for future European campaigns, plus there's the PR a decent campaign generates both home and abroad, and last but not least it provides both the manager and players with experience of playing in Europe.

A good run in Europe has many benefits providing it doesn't result in a drop off in Premier League performance, which it doesn't seem to be doing thus far.
 

Is it really that important how much money we make anyway? I'm loving being in europe and all europe seeing us win our group comfortably, putting us back up there.

Yeah it would be nice having the cash to play there, but being there is far more important.

Agreed mate, its just sound playing Euro teams.

Raises our profile aswell.
 
Profile and interest from the fan sitting on the fence. Its all good believe me. Plus the extra TV revenue and outreach to the young fan in a distant shore to become a big fan of the peoples club.

And there are those who contribute to the TW ailbag who would rather see us on compete in the UEFA Cup as its financial rewards don't refelct the extra playing stresses put on the squad.

Me, I love being in Europe. Long may it continue!

Money is a major factor, and European football provides extra cash, and improves reputations, meaning better quality players are interested in joining your club. Europes massive for Everton to move forward, and the extra revenue helps.
