He doesnt play like a European. His short game is amazing considering how young he is. My mates dad was captain of his local club. They knew when he was 10 he was going to be special.

No doubt he is special.. they just say there is to much pressure on europeans to win the us open.. "thats what they say"

Tiger wont win. So thats one less to worry about. It's great he's off forum though, it makes things more entertaining. Pretty much anyone can win.
I usually back H Mahan, Mcilroy and K J Choi. Oh and R Barnes .

Supposedly Tiger dont play a tourney unless he feels he can win ... He dont stand a chance atm though.

Tiger +3 after round 1. Both he and Mickelson made history by playing the first round ever where neither of them didn't get a birdie.

You're boys took a hell of a beating.....Congrats to a fellow Northern Irishman Graeme McDowell.

seemed like a nice guy...

I was actually rooting for him or the French guy to win it...I still feel for Jean van de veldt back in 99 and the French are due for a win in anything this month! (may as well be golf)

Watched the entire round today and I've got to hand it to McDowell. He held up (along with Havret) while everyone else imploded.

It was there for the taking but no one grabbed their chance. Happy for Graeme McDowell and Northern Ireland tonight. Special kudos to the Frenchman Havret who gave his country a reason to be proud about something other than their football team.
