Vagner Love
Player Valuation: £500k
He might have talent but was it really the best use of the money
Did he stand out much in those ?He made 38 apps for Southampton last season. 33 in the prem and 5 in cup games.
This is it. Nothing more too it. Nobody is saying anything negative about him. Just really strange transfer for this reason. He might have talent but was it really the best use of the money

It wasn't him instead of a right back though.I won't comment on his signing talentwise because he has potential. I will say early doors I think he was absolutely the wrong signing. We think a CB is okay to play right back and depth at both fullback positions is no big deal though so that is that. You live and learn.
We won't know until further down the line will we?He might have talent but was it really the best use of the money
The "writing off" is more along the lines of "WTF does he have to do to play more than 4 minutes when we're getting our asses beat?" As it stands he is a waste of money if Moyes doesn't want to play him. He played a full season last year with Southampton. I THINK he can handle a 30 minute showing.Wasn’t £45m and he’s here long term not short term, he’ll get his chance. Honestly getting annoying that people are writing the younger lads off cos they’re not starting or coming on every week
£40m on a striker and £15-20m on a RB and this team is top 4.
Being realistic, that would still not make us anywhere near as good as Liverpool, Chelsea, City or Arsenal.
Right now he’s clearly a waste of money. He might turn into a brilliant steal in a few years, but this club needed players who were ready now. Signing punts for the future was a luxury we really couldn’t afford. He might have talent but was it really the best use of the money
I’d sit him down and watch some games Rooney had when he came on the scene. Stop worrying about retaining/recycling possession and be a bit more fearless. The talent is there I think.
