TV Series

Decided to watch the first episode of 'Blue Lights' on BBC i Player.

Gave up after 45 minutes.

A police drama set in 'post peace' Northern Ireland.

So formulaic and predictable.
Ray, so many reviews say episode 1 isnt upto much, and I agree, but get through it and it does start to build into something good.

It is a below par start but it is worth the investment.

Started watching Wolf Creek last night. First episode got me intrigued.

Australian serial killer meets American family on holiday in the Northern Territory.

Love how atmospheric Aussie stuff is. And some of the scenery is amazing.

I'll watch some more tonight.
Aussie cinema is also great. Can never remember anything I've ever watched but deffo worth digging into.

Watching silo. Am about 4 episodes in but not sure about it. Anyone think I should continue or recommend another sci fi series?

I’d stick with it.

It’s one of those series, where some episodes seem to be much better than others.

If you’re looking for another sci-fi series, have a look at The Expanse.

The first series is a bit ropey, but after that it really finds its feet.

I'm so elated that another season of Slow Horses occurs tomorrow , one of the most consistent show in terms of quality. The characters are superbly written along with sharp sardonic dialogue and plots that keep you engaged.
Thought Season 4 was a bit meh personally and Season 3 was weirdly brutal at times which took me out of it a bit. First two seasons were class though.

Fair enough to each their own, for me I thought season 4 was the strongest, I really liked the introduction of Hugo Weaving's character which I won't delve into just in case someone hasn't got that fair but I liked the twist involving one of the main characters origins
