I’m just about to finish it and think it’s been excellent.

They’ve managed to refresh it really well and not rely on the games dominating it as heavily as the first,

So, Squid Game Season 2...

Not as good as Season 1 (which was borderline a masterpiece for me) but it was still a great season in what is a truly excellent show.

I wouldn't pay much mind to the people who say they 'hated' it - a gross overreaction.

They could have easily just left it at that after the first season and I would have been happy; it was just brilliantly done.

I was worried when I found out there was a second but fair play, they've done a great job, I was hooked again very early on.

Cliffhangers like that though... 'Sake.

They’ve added a lot of black humour and a real human element into this series too.

I’ve no idea where the bad reviews are coming from tbh, as it’s excellent.

Agreed about the humour/human element. I haven't looked up any reviews to be honest mate as I wanted to go into it with a clear mind.

Spoke with a few folk in work during a smoke break today about it and they were all in agreement about it being a worthy continuation of the story.
Now I've done it I'll probably have a nose at the reviews just out of curiosity.

We have really enjoyed it. Felt very fresh considering there is a fairly set format for the actual “games”.

Absolutely crazy characters again (unless that just how it’s dubbed) which I think works well as part of the show

I’m fine with the cliffhanger because the final series is being released later this year. I think they basically made a massive series to finish it and had to split it somewhere because it was too big and that seemed like the best place.

Did I just read the word DUBBED???

I usually watch shows with subtitles first and then will watch the dubbed version after - different experiences watching with both. Done it the other way round though as my partner prefers watching it dubbed so doesn’t have to focus as much.
