I had posed this question a couple of times in the matchthread but noone really paid it mind at the time, so i figured someone might want to comment now.
as i live in the states, i watched the game on the computer. was it my imagination, or was the home support relatively quiet for most of the game. I noticed this because I heard "forever blowin' bubbles" and "west ham till i die" more than a few times, but can't remember hearing too many of our songs.
i've never observed this before, usually with our home games the voices of the announcers are almost drowned out by our songs, i even remember us seeming louder for the away carling cup match at chelsea.
once again, did i just imagine this, or was their low turnout from the home fans at the game for some reason, if anyone else noticed this could they maybe shed light on it?
