Here's a tough one for y'all.

Can you name the first footballer to play at a world cup (as in get on the pitch) while signed for Everton? It happened at 7:00pm on the 11th June 1958.

Alex Parker of Scotland is the only one I can think of from that era.

Jesus, took less than 3 minutes. Well done, lid.

Ta im a proper World Cup nerd though!

I have a question, probably been asked before but here goes....

What has ex Everton striker Kevin Langley done that no other player (to my knowledge) has ever managed to do in his career?

I think he is the only player to have ever done that, mind.

Play in the english, scottish, welsh and northern irish leagues?

Possible but surely there must be other welsh players who have done that.

Ill narrow it down a bit. This thing he did he managed to do it in the same season.

18 players have both played for Everton and been included in a squad for a team in the semi finals of the european championship.

6 in 1968.
2 in 1992.
4 in 1996.
2 in 2000.
4 in 2004.
1 in 2008.

Just guessing on some...

6 in 1968. Alan Ball, Brian Labone, Ray Wilson, Gordon West?
2 in 1992. Anders Limpar
4 in 1996. Paul Gascoigne, Martin Keown, Mikael Madar?
2 in 2000. Abel Xavier, Marco Matterazzi
4 in 2004. Andy Van Der Meyde, Abel Xavier, Nuno Valente, John Heitinga?
1 in 2008. Dinyar Bilyaletadinov
