Given our resources, and that it is pretty much impossible to sort out everyone of positions to the standard I would like, it's gone pretty well, Nastasic on loan would have been superb but maybe unrealistic, getting stones, barkley and coleman tied down, great stuff. Signing Lukaku will prove massive in the long run and eto'o is a smart little move. I think Besic will be a bargain at 4 mill. There's area's we need to be stronger in but like I said, given the financial power of the club we will have to make do at times. RB is a worry and I think Hibbert's contract is a complete waste as would any sort of money paid for cleverly so happy that fell through. I don't know how good Astu is and if he will be a better option than gerry, but all in all we've done okay, get stones playing and Barkley fit and we will all start to feel a little bit better about things

Great signings but still feel as though we are 1 or 2 short. Maybe if we had a clean bill of health and the defence were as boss as they normally are, we'd all be windmilling into next week about this window.

I suspect Hibbo's contract extension was more to do with the club repaying him for his work behind the scenes for his loyalty to the club over the years. Hibbo's been a model pro, never publicly complained about being played out of position and being a fans favorite boo boy. He is apparently a great fella with bags of tackling experience to pass on to the younger lads. Really don't understand the need for any fans to constantly berate the man...practically bleeds blue.He is the very man I would want around to mentor the young lads on what it means to put on the blue.

I rated the the window a B. Not because I was disappointed by who came in ....but who didn't. Really feel a need for new blood in cb, rb positions for cover. Bob's not seemingly feeling that tho....maybe he knows something we don't. He must have seen something in the youth side in training that we don't get to see ?? Perhaps browning is closer to first team than we think......heres hoping

For me it was a great window, i was happy with the one 12 months earlier, but this was better. Don't let the bad start or the fact we got top TV money to spend detract away from the business we have done. No player of any significance has gone out but we have bought one that 12 months ago everyone said we couldn't afford even if Chelsea wanted to sell.
You can also be sure if Everton wanted to they could easily put the word out that if a big bid comes in for certain players they would listen, but we didn't. Players like Coleman could easily attract a big fee but as many of us expected we no longer have to sell to buy.
A for me, A+ would need a better look at the situation at the back, which could of been prediected but regardless im happy.
